Ora Donna is a collection inspired by a narrative and told through eveningwear. The narrative that inspired the collection is the original The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Anderson. The Little Mermaid tells the story of a young mermaid who finds a Prince and saves his life. In the end, unlike the Disney tale, the Prince falls for the princess and the little mermaid turns to sea foam. Hans Christian Anderson wrote this story and sent it to a man he was in love with as a love letter. The photoshoot, runway, and styling took inspiration from this sad tale in multiple ways.
